Diving goggles glass
Tempered glass diving goggles do not simply cut glass, but have a specialized heat treatment process: · Cutting and edging: Cut the float glass raw sheet into the shape of a lens and finely polish the edges to prevent scratching the silicone skirt. ·Hot bending molding: Place the cut glass into a high-temperature mold, soften it, and use gravity or pressure to bend it into a spherical or cylindrical curvature that fits the face. ·Physical Tempering: Quickly heat the glass after hot bending to 650-700 ° C, and then cool it uniformly and rapidly with high-speed airflow. This process forms a permanent compressive stress layer on the surface of the glass, increasing its impact strength by 5-10 times compared to ordinary glass. ·Splicing and sealing: Two pieces of tempered glass are sandwiched with a specially made transparent film (such as PVB film) and sent to an autoclave for vacuuming and high-temperature high-pressure bonding. If a rupture occurs, the fragments will firmly adhere to the film, which is also the core of "safety glass".
